Chloe Lilac – High School

Velvety and smooth vocal of Chloe Lilac for some reason is enough to put the listener in a very relaxed mood – also thanks to the deep bass and dreamy layers of synthesizers in the background. High School is a melancholic reference to the “old times”, where in the same time Chloe romanticizes or scorns certain emotions (“Sometimes, sometimes I think I’m uncool / I miss the old you / Then I remember, this isn’t high school”), just to get reality to knock some sense into the head again (“Running around the city streets / Hoping I’ll run into you / When I got so much shit to do / I’m praying I’ll make it to Friday”)
